Bernz Soriano
Bernz is currently a World Bank consultant under the Urban and Disaster Risk Management Team, working on technical assistance focused on resilient housing, disaster risk management, smart cities, and green and resilient cities. She used to be the Project Coordinator for the Initiative for Media Freedom at the Foundation for Media Alternatives which aims to fight information disorder by engaging the youth in media literacy and looking into the intersection of human rights and ICT. Bernz has over 10 years of experience as a project manager: From research and development work on various urbanization themes to content creation and program management for technology companies such as Microsoft, Citrix, and Twitter.
