It will cover topics such as phishing scams, malware attacks, ransomware, and other cyber threats. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of a scam, the best practices for staying safe online, and how to report a suspicious activity. The course will also discuss the latest security trends and provide resources for those needing further assistance. Participants will come away with a better understanding of how to recognize, avoid, and protect themselves against online scams.

      Mara Barbra Nanaman

      Mara Barbra Nanaman has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in English Language Studies. As a student, she had been a competitive debater and now shares her love for debate with her students at National High Jakarta School (NHJS) as a coach.

      She was awarded Coach of the Year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, during the Global Rounds of the World Scholar's Cup in 2015. She has traveled in multiple countries worldwide to train and accompany students in various debate tournaments. In Barcelona, one of her debate teams was awarded top 3 in the world and top 1 in Southeast Asia, and in Kuala Lumpur, her debater won best debater in the world. She also teaches research and English in NHJS while serving as department head. She has also contributed to broadsheets such as the Philippine Daily Inquirer, BusinessWorld, and Rappler. She hails from Iligan City and is a proud Bisaya.
